GHA is pleased to announce that it is working within the Learning Outside the Classroom QM (LOtC) LOtC Mark is the only national accreditation for schools which celebrates their commitment to learning outside the classroom. The LOtC Mark provides a clear and flexible framework for schools to ensure all students have access to meaningful LOtC experiences across the whole curriculum both indoors and out, on and off site, including visitors bringing experiences into your school; activities in your school grounds; indoor and outdoor visits in your locality e.g. shops, sacred places, parks/woodlands; off-site visits to heritage/cultural sites, museums, theatres and residentials.
The Trustees of the Lincolnshire Educational Trust are delighted to announce the change of name of the trust to University of Lincoln Academy Trust. This follows a strategic review of the Trust in 2020. The Trust has updated its ethos and executive management based on that review. A major aim of the review is to build closer working relationships with different areas of the University.

Staff and pupils at Holbeach Primary Academy have welcomed two Texal/Dorset cross lambs to the flock. Youngsters will be helping to care for the two lambs along with the school’s existing ducks and chickens as part of its outdoor learning programme. During the summer the two DT rooms at University Academy Long Sutton underwent a complete makeover. The rooms had changed very little since the school was first opened in 1959 and contained most of the original benches and equipment. Contractors came in and sanded the original wooden floors restoring them to their near original state. The University Academy Long Sutton site team worked tirelessly replacing the lights and ceiling tiles and then decorated both areas, all within a two week period. Construction of the new science block at the University Academy Holbeach site is nearing its final stages and is due to open after the October half-term. This has been thanks to the hard work put into the project by the contractors, Lindum, who have worked wherever possible through a very difficult period to complete the project. The building has been funded by Lincolnshire County Council to increase the Academy's Published Admission Number (PAN) to 240.
